1. Purpose
This Delivery Policy ensures that all transportation, delivery, and receipt processes are carried out safely, on schedule, and transparently—protecting customer interests and maintaining the reputation of An Hoa Phat Co., Ltd.
2. Scope of Application
This policy applies to all export, import, and wholesale wood product orders, as well as raw material supply contracts between An Hoa Phat Co., Ltd and its customers, distributors, or partners.
3. Delivery Methods
3.1. Domestic Delivery (Within Vietnam)
- Delivery directly to the customer’s warehouse or factory as stated in the contract.
- Transportation by truck, container, or suitable vehicle depending on shipment volume.
- Customers may arrange their own transport or authorize An Hoa Phat to handle delivery.
- Both parties must verify, count, and sign the delivery record.
3.2. Export Delivery (International)
- Delivery follows Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, etc.) as specified in the sales contract.
- The company prepares export documents including: Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, and Phytosanitary Certificate (if required).
- Delivery time, location, and ports are confirmed by both parties before shipment.
4. Delivery Time
Delivery time depends on order quantity, product type, and production schedule.
Normally, delivery time is defined as follows:
- First order: 60–75 days after receipt of the deposit payment.
- Repeat orders: 45–60 days after receipt of the deposit payment.
In force majeure cases (natural disasters, transport disruption, export policy changes, etc.), the company may extend the delivery period but must inform the customer at least 3 working days in advance.
5. Shipping Costs
5.1. Domestic Orders:
- If the contract price excludes delivery, transportation costs are borne by the customer.
- If An Hoa Phat supports delivery, freight will be charged based on distance and shipment weight.
5.2. Export Orders:
- Freight, loading, customs clearance, and insurance follow the agreed Incoterms.
- Extra costs due to vessel delays, port changes, or storage fees are charged per actual expense.
6. Responsibility and Inspection
Customers must inspect goods (quantity, quality, and specifications) upon receipt.
If any issues arise, a report must be made and sent to the company within 24 hours.
If no response is received, the shipment is deemed accepted.
7. Insurance and Risk
- If An Hoa Phat handles transportation, goods are insured based on contract value.
- If customers handle transport, all risks after handover are their responsibility.
- Under Incoterms, liability and risk transfer according to agreed terms (FOB, CIF, DAP, etc.).
8. Late Delivery and Compensation
- If delays are caused by the company, the customer will be informed and delivery rescheduled.
- For serious impact, compensation (up to 5% of delayed shipment value) may be negotiated.
- The company bears no liability for delays due to force majeure but will assist in mitigation.
